Deviousness |
My one design issue is that her lock of hair feels a bit forced, large, and in her face. It covers up way to much, and takes away from the design. It is hard to read her expression, even though the lines are shown through the hair.
There are a few anatomy issues, mainly the shoulders and hind legs. The shoulders seem to stick out a bit much and almost look hunched. This looks like a cat, and cats kind of have a soft looking flow to their body, and when sitting down their shoulders don't hunch that much. This is made more noticeable by how thin her neck is.
Her hind legs are hard to follow. Try drawing a skeleton before the lines. I cant determine where the bones connect from the hip to the knee to the ankle, its just a round shape with the foot area directly underneath it. The foot area also looks a bit long to be a cat, or a dog, or any pawed animal really.
Id say, study your skeletons, and use them before you draw the form. Drawing out a skeleton can correct mistakes before they happen
I hope that this was helpful! Nice character, keep it up!
